Constellations
Patterns and pictures made out of stars are called constellations. The original constellations were named by the Early Greeks, after their heroes and characters in their stories. Also stars were assigned a particular letter from their alphabet. The most famous constellations in the southern hemisphere are the Southern Cross and also the Telescopium the Telescope. In the Northern hemisphere there are constellations called Orion the Hunter and Taurus the Bell. A useful program available to download from your PC is stellarium. It enables you to look at many constellations in the night sky or just space in general.
Star Signs
There are many different star signs, and each and every person has one. Your star sign depends on what month you are born. Each has a unique picture of an animal or object, that are able to be seen at night by connecting stars. These star signs appear along the ecliptic line.

Pisces
My personal star sign is Pisces whereby the element is water. Pisces' ruling planet is Neptune and its symbol shows two fish heading in different directions. Star signs are used to 'determine' futures and individual traits. Example: Mysterious and alluring individuals, most Pisces are extremely talented, but even though they are gifted in many ways, they still manage to spend most of their lives battling "confusing" conditions. Pisces is the sign symbolised by the image of two fish. Their symbol depicts one fish heading upward, the other pulling downward. This mirrors how Pisceans are frequently torn between two pathways in life, or actually do live two very different existences at the same time.
